This annual project brings churches in the community together to pool resources and plant a crop of either corn or soybean. We then donate all of the money made from that year's crop to the food resource bank, which allows people around the world to better their communities with farming. So far, we have raised over $200,000 with this project.

We collect food every Sunday for Shenandoah's local food pantry. Many of our church members serve in the pantry, which is opened Tuesday and Friday mornings 9:15-11:30am at First Baptist Church of Shenandoah.
This year, we sent over 20 boxes filled with gifts to children around the world. This new tradition at our church is one that will mark our season of Advent every year!
The Missions Committee leads us in many special collections on a month by month basis. March was Undy Sunday, for collecting new underwear to go to a local women's shelter. April is Sweet Showers, our time to collect sugar for the food pantry. May will be for collecting flour and we plan to celebrate Socktober in the fall!
